You are ‘Cool’

Hey friends, I know these days being a ‘cool’ is such a big buzzing topic in our community. In addition, each and every single day we are highly influence by pictures and videos showing the world’s definition of ‘perfect’ life. Now, here’s the question what is the definition of being cool in this era?

Celebrities

Well, this is such a common answer! I believe in some point you wanted to be like one of your favorite celebrities, maybe you wanted to be like the handsome and perfect Zac Efron, the overly talented Adam Levine or the soccer phenomenon Beckham, that's just to name a few for you guys out there. For the beautiful ladies, maybe you dreamt of being someone as talented and goovy as Jennifer Lawrence, A singing dive like Beyonce or a beautiful and modest Miranda Kerr? Did You?

Well, let me tell you a secret.  Trying to imitate them in any way will not lead you to your goal as the ‘cool’. You are different. You are special. You are created to be unique!

Boyfriend/Girlfriend

Ha! This is another stereotype answer. Now days’, being cool is often categorized as someone who is able to have a boyfriend/girlfriend. Believe me, in schools more and more teenagers are flirting and trying to look for someone to be their partner. I’ve known more than a dozen people who dated just to be stamp as a ‘cool’ kid.

Sometimes having someone to be with you can lead to 2 options: 1. Being someone who is better 2. Misleaded to do things that they are not suppose to do. Maybe, now you are thinking that you might be in the first group, but unfortunately more and more teenagers fell into the 2^nd group. At the end, this is not defining that you are ‘cool’

Going with the community

To wrap it up, another answer tp define ‘cool’ coming from teenagers will be going on with what the community is offering such as smoking, drinking alcohol and clubs. The mindset and integrity of teenagers have moved along the years, now days these things seems normal. To some degree, teenagers loved to show off that they could do what the community asked them to in order for them to be the so called – ‘cool’

The real ‘COOL’

The answer to being cool is not trying to imitate celebrities nor doing what the community is asking you to do. The answer to being ‘cool’ is just being you! Don’t be afraid to speak up for yourself and stand out of the crowd! Going with the crowd is not always the best thing, but by being who you are the coolness that you wanted will shine itself through you!

You are created to be unique, to be the only one in the world. No matter how hard you tried to be ‘cool’ by doing what others thinks is cool you won’t be, because you who you are.

Remember, You are the new definition of  ‘COOL’ !
