Are we really broken?

Have you ever wondered why do we keep on doing mistakes, why do we feel lonely, why do we feel that something is always missing??

Well yes, especially us, the reckless youth. We tend to actually know that we have something missing but… guess what we do with it? We ran to the earthly things. We ran to what the world stamps as ‘fun, cool, hype, and so on’ . But honestly, if you think of it again, do you really feel that in any way it is giving you something that you really need?

This is something that happen regularly in my life, sometimes when I am so bored, you know what I ran to? I ran to using my time doing wasteless activities such as watching movies, youtubes, playing game and so on. Time passes by and by the time I felt mind of tired I realized that I have passed hours upon hours of doing something that is not impacting. I wasted my time.

So, how can we get out of this wasted activities that we kept on doing day to day? Here’s a message from the bible that can help you go through it.

Romans 12:2 New Living Translation
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

Yes, from this we can see that the only way you can make your days better is to let God transform your life. It is because only through Him that we can have a new mind that will see things differently. Not only that, when we get to know Him then you will be lead step by step towards his will, which is always good, pleasing, and perfect.

Before you knew it, your life can be the light for your family, community and friends. There’s no more things wasted but it is rather used to glorify His name.

In conclusion, yes we are broken as a human. Yet, it does not mean that there is nothing that can mend this broken pieces because there is only one person that can mend the brokenness that we have, which is our Creator, Jesus Christ.

Happy Monday!
